Volunteering Opportunities
FWUK continuously holding ongoing events and will always need additional help. There are a number of ways in which you can help support our vision by lending your talents on a one off occasion or a ongoing time period;
- StylistsHair and make up is essential for any catwalk show, if you feel that you can lend your talents or want to build up your portfolio as a stylist, please submit a contact form on the contact page or contact us directly on the numbers provided.
- ModelsModels are the light of fashion shows, if you've got personality and a great look or simply want to build on your catwalk confidence, and then please contact us. are
- DesignersFWUK are always open to new talent whether you are an upcoming designer or more established, and happy to showcase your work at our fashion shows.
- Drawing from emotion This programme is aimed at young people who are going through an emotional turmoil.
- General VolunteersAnyone who wishes to gain valuable experience by assisting in the show production as volunteers and have skills as: Make up Artists, Hair Stylists, Stylists, Stewards, Photographers, and Film or Video crews, can send a CV to email : info@fashionworkforceuk.com.
Or if you are jack all the trades and feel that you can do a bit of everything e.g. hair, make-up or of you are just quite happy to help out with the general running's of any hectic catwalk show, then we would love to have you on board. - Work Experience / Volunteering As well as our dedicated team of administrators we have on board, we are a small company and need as much help as we can possible.. If you feel that you could lend us a few hours a week or more, then we'd love to hear from you.
If you are a student and need work experience, this would be a great opportunity for you to build work ethic and do some practical hands on work rather than the 'mundane's' of making tea and photocopying bits of paper'
We will also provide you with a written recommendation at the end of your time at FWUK.
